If you find your Overcooked! 2 game is stuck on the first screen and asking you to press A or Space to continue but not registering input from your controller and/or keyboard, this is can usually be fixed by following the steps below!
I can't press A or Space when prompted, what do I do?
Go to the Microsoft official download page by clicking here
Then please install packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022
You will need to install two files: x86 and x64
Reboot your PC and then retest your game!
