Here are some simple solutions that may help resolve this:
Make sure all players trying to play have enabled the Cross-play Branch (you can find how to do this here!)
Please make sure that all players in the party have the most recent drivers for their PC installed. For steps on how to do this:

- How to update your AMD driversMake sure that you are inviting players to your party using the Team17 in-game friend system and not the client's invite system
Please ensure everyone in the parties' NAT (Network Address Translation) is set to Open or Moderate - you may need to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or router manufacturer for information on how to perform these steps
If you are finding that you're struggling to invite your friends to play Overcooked! 2 with you through Steam, please make sure to invite them into the in-game lobby before entering any groups, voice calls or VoIP lobbies in your Steam overlay
