Verifying your game files
If you're having issues with one of your games on Epic, whether it's glitching, lagging or crashing, it may be caused by corrupted or missing game files.
When verifying your game files, your Epic launcher - similar to Steam - establishes if this is the case and replaces any that are missing.
How do I verify my game files?
Go to your Library
Choose which game you would like to verify
Click the three dots under the game image
Click on Manage
Choose Verify
Depending on the size of the game it may take a few minutes to verify all your files. Once it completes click Launch to start your game.
